American Family Life Assurance Company is an American Insurance Company and has been operating in Financial services industry since its was founded by John Amos Paul Amos  and Bill Amos in 1955. It headquarters are in Aflac Building Columbus, Georgia, U.S.

Strengths

• It has approx.8500 employees.

• Largest provide of Supplemental Insurance in US.

• Long term relationship with Banks

• Strong financial position

• It offer unique services to its customers.

• Contributing towards society by funding for cancer Research & development and its treatment.

Weaknesses

• It doesn’t have online presence.

• It only focused towards Japan business.

Opportunities

• Introduce more Insurance plan to its customers

• Market development by entering into growing economics such as India, China and Pakistan

Threats

• Increasing competition in Financial Industry.

• Risk of natural disaster in Japan.

• Decline in Yen currency might impact its profit margin.
